Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Voices Welcomes New SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler

On Behalf of Small Business Owners, We Congratulate Kelly Loeffler on her Confirmation to Lead the Small Business Administration

10,000 Small Businesses Voices Shares Policy Playbook for New Administration to Support Small Business Growth

NEW YORK — Following the confirmation of Kelly Loeffler as administrator of the Small Business Administration, the National Leadership Council of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Voices (10KSBV), a leading advocate for small businesses across the nation, issued the following statement:

"On behalf of small business owners across the country, we congratulate Kelly Loeffler on her confirmation to lead the Small Business Administration,” said the National Leadership Council of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Voices. “We’re looking forward to working with the new Administration and Congress to advance policies that will help small businesses create jobs and drive growth. Central to that policy agenda will be the Small Business Administration, championing the priorities of entrepreneurs on Main Street and seeking input from small business owners on how to jumpstart our economy and drive growth. From access to capital and tax policy to reducing regulation and improving access to child care, small business owners are eager to shape solutions that level the playing field, so that we can remain at the heart of our nation's economic prosperity.”

Earlier this year, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Voices and the Bipartisan Policy Center released a new small business policy playbook with recommendations to support small businesses. The report outlines policy proposals to level the playing field for small businesses, by giving them the tools to compete for workers, cut red tape, remove barriers that stall their success and foster an environment to drive tech investment and innovation.

The National Leadership Council of 10KSBV is composed of a group of entrepreneurs who advocate for policies that support small business. The Council includes Chair Jessica Johnson-Cope (Johnson Security Bureau - New York, NY), Janice Jucker (Three Brothers Bakery - Houston, TX), Khari Parker (Connie’s Chicken and Waffles - Baltimore, MD), Jill Bommarito (Ethel's Baking Company - Detroit, MI), and Bryan Pate (ElliptiGo - Solana Beach, CA).
