A former university lecturer, Valeria “Vale” Tetti had always loved fashion, but it wasn’t until 2012 that she created her first collection with a friend whilst researching fabrics and building entrepreneurship skills alongside her teaching. Her brand was launched in 2019 and has since released several collections designed to help women feel stylish and comfortable in their body shape. The brand provides employment for women in less advantaged areas of Buenos Aires.
How did 10,000 Women help shape you as an entrepreneur?
At the beginning, I didn’t know if I really wanted to be an entrepreneur, but taking the courses gave me an awareness of how it could work. The program helped me focus on the different areas that I needed to launch my brand. The event Growth Fellowship was also amazing, everything was incredibly professional and organized. I really enjoyed it, met talented and warm people, learned so many things and didn’t want it to end!
