Transport Bray is a long-established family business in the Hauts-de-France region, founded 70 years ago by David Bray's grandfather. David took over the reins in 2007. Under his leadership, the company has transformed itself to become a pillar of freight transport for the retail sector.
To grow in the highly competitive transport sector, David needed to modernize his family business. The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB) programme was instrumental in helping him structure his growth strategy, hone his management skills and focus on innovation, particularly in terms of team management, customer solutions and strong social commitments such as professional integration and energy transition.
The growth plan strengthened the business' dialogue with financial partners, providing new pathways to raise funds. David invested in the purchase of 10 electric trucks in 2025 and plans to continue expanding his electric fleet, with an aim of adding 20 more.
Together with Cyril Gardien, also an alumnus of the programme, he created a company specializing in secure parking for trucks.
