
Tucker is chair of global Wealth Management. He is a member of the Management Committee and is chair of the Wealth Management Operating Group. Tucker also serves on the board of the Goldman Sachs Trust Company and the Wealth Management Capital Committee.
Prior to assuming his current role, Tucker was global head of Goldman Sachs Wealth Management. Before that, he was global co-head of the Consumer and Wealth Management Division. Previously, Tucker served in various leadership roles across the global wealth management franchise including head of the US business and co-head of the EMEA business. He has been based in Frankfurt, Zurich, London and New York. Tucker began his career covering clients in New York and continues in that capacity today as part of his overall responsibilities. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1986 in New York as a private wealth advisor. Tucker was named managing director in 1996 and partner in 2000.
Tucker serves on the Board of Directors of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and on the Board of Trustees at Christ Church in New York City. He previously served as a trustee of The Browning School and the Marymount School. Tucker is also a member of the Chancellor’s Philanthropic Council and the UNC Foundation Board at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC).
Tucker earned a BS from UNC and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
