There are two main reasons why you may not be able to find a former colleague; Non-registered alumni do not appear in the Alumni Directory. If you are in contact with a former Goldman Sachs employee who has not registered, please encourage them to register on the website. Alumni are listed on the website by their legal name while they were employed at the firm. An Alumni’s formal name in the directory might differ from their preferred name or they may be listed under a maiden or married name.
The Goldman Sachs Alumni Network website is a secure community that requires Goldman Sachs alumni to verify they are former employees of the firm during the registration process. Your profile and basic information about when you were at the firm can be seen by other members of the Network. You can control how much of your personal information other alumni can view (see below) but all of your personal information on the website can be seen by the website’s administrators. More information about how your data is used is in the website’s Privacy Policy.
Your contact information has an individual privacy setting so you can choose exactly what you want to display publicly. The options are either to display the information to no-one, just to your contacts or to everyone.
Members are not required to fill out a profile and they can choose to display all or only some of their profile information. To find out more about an alumnus, send an e-mail using the Send a Message link, or if there is none listed, please e-mail alumni@gs.com, and we will assist you.
You are able to edit most information by going to 'My Profile’. If the information cannot be edited, please e-mail alumni@gs.com, and we will assist you.
Once approved by the website Administrator, your posting item will be viewable by all Alumni Network members.
To recommend someone for a Featured Alumni story please e-mail the Office of Alumni Engagement.
Each event description or invitation will have specific instructions on how to RSVP. Most often you will receive an event invitation link via e-mail; once you click the link you will be prompted to log in and RSVP.
Please reach out to alumni@gs.com. We value your suggestions and comments. Your ideas help make the Network more useful and valuable for all members.
