Fall 2026 London and Birmingham Programmes

The Alternative Pathways Programmes are internship-style programmes designed for veterans, returnees, and athletes. Across a 10-week paid placement, professionals will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the firm's day-to-day activities, utilise its resources, and connect with senior leaders for mentorship opportunities.

Timeframe: 7 September to 13 November 2026

Locations:  London, Birmingham UK

 

Programme for Athletes 


This pathway is specifically designed for high-achieving athletes transitioning from professional sport into a corporate career, recognising the unique skills and dedication they bring.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Athletes who have competed their chosen sport at regional, national and/or international level for a minimum of 24 months 
  • Retired from sport for at least 24 months (as of 7th September 2024)

Programme Focus: Leveraging transferable skills such as discipline, teamwork, strategic thinking, and resilience developed through elite sports into a professional business environment.

Programme for Veterans


Our Veterans Integration Programme (VIP) pathway supports service personnel transitioning from military careers into the civilian workforce, valuing their leadership and operational experience.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum of one year military service experience
  • Military separation date between September 2024 and September 2026
  • No prior full-time paid employment since leaving the service (excl. internships)

Programme Focus: Assisting veterans in translating their extensive leadership, strategic planning, and operational experience into a corporate context, providing a structured re-entry into the professional world.

Returners to the Workforce


The Returnship is tailored for professionals looking to re-enter the workforce after an extended career break, offering a supportive bridge back to full-time employment.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Previously employed professionals with three or more years of work experience, who have been out of the full-time workforce for two or more years (as of 7th September 2024)

Programme Focus: Providing a supportive environment for individuals to refresh their professional skills, rebuild networks, and regain confidence, with dedicated mentorship and development opportunities.
